Conditions of Entry

• Open only to amateur musicians – the definition of an amateur musician is one who has never been paid to perform music.
• Contestants will perform one act/song for judging but should have two prepared
• Acts should be kept within a maximum of 4 minutes
• Recorded backing music will be allowed in this event but must have no vocals on it if the performance is vocal.  All backing formats to be presented on a flash drive

Entrants will be contacted by the coordinator prior to the show and given further details.

Judging Criteria
Stage presentation, confidence, delivery,  attitude(engaging with the audience) and quality of performance.

$5 per entry

Junior –

1^st Prize: Studio recording session valued to $400 sponsored by Masters Studio

2^nd Prize: $100 sponsored by Advance Civil Engineering

3^rd Prize: 5 lessons (piano, guitar, or vocal) or a $50 cash alternative sponsored by Amadeus Music School 

Open –

1^st Prize: Studio recording session valued to $600 sponsored by Masters Studio

2^nd Prize: $150 sponsored by A1 Plant & Civil

3^rd Prize: 8 lessons (piano, guitar, or vocal) or a $100 cash alternative sponsored by Amadeus Music School
