Would you like to contribute to making the next Freds Pass Rural Show the best ever? Be part of the team at this fantastic rural event! Volunteers play a major role in keeping this iconic rural show operating. Fresh perspectives and helpers are always needed and wanted. While volunteering with us you will have the chance to make new friends, meet great people and have lots of fun along the way!  We ensure our volunteers are well supported in their roles.

Freds Pass Rural Show is accepting Volunteer applications for your 2025 show.  Assistance may be required but not limited to the following areas:

• Committee position
• Administration support (office assistance, data entry, prize money allocation, laminating, counting of items)
• Paddock to Plate food demonstrations – behind the scenes support
• Children’s activities setup/pack up, helping at the event
• Show Pavilions (where the entries in our many competitions are displayed – art, craft, cookery, photography, market garden, horticulture, cattle, goats, poultry.
• Outback Track bags for kids – helping selling the bags
• Information Booth: manning, setup/pack up.
• Equestrian help – setting up equipment
• Assisting Site Manager
• Assisting our photographer
• Grounds and equipment set up
• Opening ceremony and grand parade on Saturday afternoon of the show
• Roustabout
• Transport/driving/pick-ups
• Assisting in clean-up of equipment/ packing up assets after the show
• Volunteer management support
