Ticketing Terms and Conditions

Covid Safe Event 

To ensure a safe event for everyone, attendees must comply with the current NT Government COVID-19 regulations for licensed events.  

Patron Ticketing and Entry Conditions

• All patrons must have a valid ticket to access the event.
• The Freds Pass Rural Show (FPRS) reserves the right to refuse any patron without appropriate identification.
• The only forms of valid photo ID that will be accepted for persons wishing to drink alcohol are a current Australian driver’s licence, a current passport or a current state issued proof of age card. 
• All persons, bags and containers are subject to a full search at entry to ensure the safety of patrons. Prohibited items will be confiscated (and only returned at FPRS’s discretion) except for illegal drugs, which will be handed over to police. The event organisers do not take any responsibility for confiscated items. 

Venue Terms & Conditions
• Entry is at own risk. The right to refuse entry is reserved.• Alcoholic beverages must not be taken into or out of the Venue.
• Anyone found to be supplying or buying alcohol for a minor will be evicted from the Venue and will possibly face criminal charges.
• During the event, patrons must remain on designated pathways and follow official directions by venue staff and security.
• Trespassers and anyone assisting trespassers will be evicted from the venue.
• Smoking is only permitted in marked designated smoking areas.
• Pass-outs may be issued at the discretion of the FPRS.
• The FPRS shall not be held liable for any loss, injury or damages sustained entering or within the premises.
• As members of the audience, ticket holders’ consent to being included in photos, sound and live video recordings that may be used by the promoter and approved media outlets for promotion of the event.
• It is a condition of entry that all patrons agree not to behave in a manner that interferes with the enjoyment of other patrons. Promoters and Security reserve the right to eject any

person contravening this.
• In the case of an emergency evacuation or situation, please follow all official directives.

What items can’t be brought into this event?
• No BYO alcohol – soft drinks and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted
• No illicit drugs
• No glass, knives, weapons, lasers or personal fireworks

What if I purchase tickets from a third party?
The official ticketing agency for this event is IWannaTicket. Validity of your tickets can only be ensured by purchasing the tickets directly from this Authorised Seller.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No, we prefer digital tickets! Have your tickets ready on your phone to scan. If you don’t have access to a phone, you can print your ticket with the bar code and present at gate.

Can I purchase tickets at the show gates?

Yes, online, cash and EFTOS purchases are available at the gates.  Tickets bought online are discounted to encourage online sales and faster show entry, so buy before you get to the gates and save!

Refund Policy

There is no refund of tickets for this event, unless the event is cancelled, in which case a full refund applies.

Talent Quest Terms and Conditions

Conditions of Entry 

  • Open only to amateur musicians – the definition of an amateur musician is one who has  never been paid to perform music. 
  • Contestants will perform one act/song for judging but should have two prepared Acts should be kept within a maximum of 4 minutes 
  • All backing tracks must be emailed to Stage Manager before event, and you must bring a  backup copy on flash drive to the event on the day of performance. 
  • Music instrumental backing tracks will be allowed in this event but if the performance is  vocal the backing track must not have any vocals on it. 
  • All backing tracks must be Mp3 format and of good audio quality 
  • Contestant must make themselves known to Stage Manager at least 30 minutes before  talent quest event and be at the backstage area and ready at least 20 minutes before your  performance. 
  • Entrants will be contacted by a representative of the Freds Pass Rural Show prior to the  event and given further details. 

For contestants using stringed and powered instrument: 

  • Stringed instruments to have new or near new strings, you will need to supply. Retune stringed instrument before going on stage, (at home and at least 30 minutes before  going on stage) 
  • Keyboard – note we do not supply keyboard or keyboard stand; you will need to bring your  own. 
  • Any instruments needing to be plugged into power will need to have up to date test and tag  i.e power leads to any instrument/foot pedals etc…

SHOW REGULATIONS AND CONDITIONS FOR COMPETITION ENTRANTS/EXHIBITORS

 

    1. All exhibitors must have acquired gate tickets to be entitled entry to the Show.
    2. Exhibitors must adhere to Work Health and Safety Regulations, or risk being asked to leave the grounds.
    3. The Committee shall not be responsible for any accident that may be caused to or by any exhibit and will not be responsible for any loss or non-delivery of exhibit.
    4. The Committee shall have the right to remove from the Showgrounds, at any time, any exhibit and/or any person connected with it, which, in the opinion of the Committee, is objectional or may be detrimental to the Committee’s interest and no person so removed shall have any right of action or claim for damages against the Committee or Committee members in respect of any action taken by the Committee under these regulations.
    5. Competition entries close on Friday 10 May unless stated otherwise in specific sections.
    6. Entries are made online – www.fredspassruralshow.org.au  Registration is via the ShowDay Online portal. Follow the online links through to the shopping cart.  Membership fees may also be paid once you have entered your online entries and before you check-out.
    7. A paper copy of this Schedule may be collected from the Show Office (check opening hours) or the Nelson, Goyder, Daly, Brennan, Spillett, Drysdale and Blain Electoral Offices, along with paper entry forms for those who do not have computer access.  The entry form can also be downloaded from our website.
    8. Completed paper entry forms with cash or cheque payment can be hand delivered to the Show Office (check opening hours) or the Nelson, Goyder, Daly, Brennan, Spillett, Drysdale and Blain Electoral Offices, up to Friday 10 May.
    9. One exhibitor per paper entry form only.
    10. Entry Fees (unless stated otherwise): Non-Members : $2.40 ;  Members, Disability/Carer/Aged Pensioners, Senior Card Holders, Juniors (under 18 years) $1.20
    11. No late entries will be accepted. 
    12. The Chief Steward may place in the correct class exhibits considered to be entered in a wrong class.
    13. All persons exhibiting shall accept the decisions of the judges appointed by the Show Committee as final.
    14. No exhibitors shall be permitted to be in attendance while the judging of exhibits is in progress unless by special request of the stewards.
    15. Prize money and prizes will be distributed from the Competitions Office during the Show on: Saturday from 3 pm to 5 pm; Sunday from 10 am to 11.30 am; 1 pm to 3 pm.
    16. Prize Money (unless stated otherwise) Prize money does not include GST. Adults 1st $10, 2nd $6, 3rd $4. Juniors 1st $8, 2nd $4, 3rd $2 
    17. No exhibit can be removed from the showgrounds before 4 pm on Sunday 26 May.
    18. Exhibit pick-up times are Sunday 26th 4 pm – 5 pm, and Monday 27th 10 am – 5 pm.
    19. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to arrange a time for collection of exhibits and/or prize money at another time if these times are not suitable. 
    20. Prize monies/exhibits unclaimed by 14 June will be forfeited.
