Growing up in tropical Larrakia Land (Darwin) in the Northern Territory, Emma has a unique talent for crafting quirky contemporary rock songs that combine hope, frustration and joy in a surprisingly complicated but completely relatable style.
Emma has an impressive catalogue of support slots including performing with The Whitlams, Electric Fields, Amanda Palmer, Regurgitator, Frank Turner, King Stingray, Jebediah, Sara Storer, Big Scary, Rachael Leachar, and Christine Anu. She has also played at major events including BASSINTHEGRASS, Adelaide Fringe Festival, Darwin Festival, Tamworth Country Music Festival, Aireys Inlet Music Festival, Royal Darwin and Adelaide Show and Carols By Candlelight Darwin.

The Roy Boys Duo John Coulehan (Vocals) and Darryl Barba (Guitar) have been part of the Darwin local music scene since 1998.
Musically influenced by rock and country the Roy Boys will be performing their original songs acoustically at this year’s Freds Pass Rural Show.

You’ll pine for Sally Balfour, and then she’ll haunt you. Her music offers too much substance to be called whimsical—it’s sweet melody with a gut punch. Immersed in Territory folk since before she could walk, Sally’s voice is as vast as the desert and as refreshing as the wet season. Her captivating lyrics, both witty and serious, draw you in and keep you mesmerised.
Sally’s debut alt-folk-country EP, a decade in the making, explores the many facets of love and has earned her widespread acclaim, including four NT Music Award nominations. Her hit “Nothing Short of a Mess” won 2024 Country Song of the Year at the NT Music Awards and was also a semi-finalist in the prestigious International Songwriting Competition. Not stopping there, “Mango” from her children’s album Clara Crocodile also gained semi-finalist honors in the same competition. Sally’s first single, “Calling Me Home,” released in 2021, made an impressive debut, landing at number nine on the Territory Sounds Countdown that year.
