The Freds Pass Rural Show is a great opportunity for locals to showcase their creative and productive endeavours, and win great prizes!
Online entries must be accompanied by payment by PayPal (either via a PayPal account or by credit card). Click in the competition tiles below to get all the comp and entry details, with links to the online entry portal.
Paper entry forms (download and print or pick up at the listed offices) with payment by cash or cheque can be hand delivered to the Show Office (check opening hours) or the Nelson, Goyder, Daly, Brennan, Spillett, Drysdale and Blain Electoral Offices up to Friday 10 May 2024. Electoral Offices can also supply a printed copy of the “2024 Schedule of Competitions & Prizes” on request.

The NT Show Council is sponsoring 4 awards for schools to help celebrate the 45 th year of the Freds Pass Rural Show. The aims of this sponsorship are to encourage school participation in NT agricultural shows, to raise awareness of NT show competitions, to increase school/student show participation and to grow the next generation’s involvement in NT shows.
The following awards are offered to the school in each category which submits the most
entries in the 2024 Freds Pass Rural Show.
Early Learning/Childcare Centre/Preschool $400
Primary School $700
Middle School $700
Secondary School $700
Entries may be placed by any of the school admin, teachers, or support staff, and can be
entered in separate registrations and over varying dates – as long as the school’s name is written in the “Company” box when registering. Student’s names must be inserted as the “Entrant” when their individual schoolwork is entered, and school class/grade titles must be inserted for “Entrant” for group projects.
